Products & Ordering

  • Yes, we do!

Provide us with the paint manufacturer (Sherwin Williams, Behr, etc.), the paint name, and the color code, and we’ll match it precisely.

For orders of 30 or more, there is no charge for color matching.

  • We offer both fixed and adjustable shelving options to suit your needs. Shelves are available in two materials:

Wood: 0.5" thick, providing a sturdy and traditional look.

Annealed Glass: 0.25" thick, strengthened through a heat-treatment process. This glass offers a more open aesthetic, making the interior of the box appear larger. Glass shelves are especially ideal for units with the added LED lighting option, enhancing the display’s visual appeal.

  • No, we do not. We can fulfill an order for a single box if requested.

Why we choose Super-Refined MDF to craft our Memory Boxes

  • Super-refined MDF is denser and stronger than standard MDF, making it more resistant to impact and wear. This means our memory boxes are built to last, even in high-use environments.

  • The high density of super-refined MDF provides a smooth, uniform surface ideal for painting. This allows for a professional finish that enhances the look and feel of the memory boxes.

  • Concerns about swelling with standard MDF are mitigated with super-refined MDF. When properly sealed with high-quality paint, our memory boxes gain an additional layer of protection against moisture, ensuring longevity and durability.

  • Super-refined MDF is more affordable than solid wood while still providing excellent strength and aesthetics. It is also made from recycled wood fibers, making it an environmentally friendly option.

ADA Compliance Information

What does ADA Compliant signage mean?

The 2010 Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) for Accessible Design sets specific requirements for signage in public spaces, addressing size, placement, and layout. Two of our memory box designs include a placeholder for attaching ADA-compliant signage. To ensure compliance, the memory box must be mounted within specific parameters. For detailed guidance, visit the Department of Justice website or review simplified compliance guidelines from our recommended vendors:

Do ADA signage standards meet the same requirements as the Canadian CSA B651-18 standards?

While our products are specifically designed to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, these standards share many similarities with the Canadian CSA B651-18 standards, ensuring a high level of accessibility and usability for individuals with disabilities.

Comparison of Requirements:

  • Both ADA and CSA B651-18 standards require that signage is placed in easily visible and accessible locations. This includes considerations for height, ensuring that signs are within reach and view of all users, including those using wheelchairs.

  • Both standards mandate the inclusion of tactile elements such as Braille and raised characters. This ensures that individuals with visual impairments can read and understand the signage.

  • Proper illumination is a requirement under both ADA and CSA B651-18 standards. Signage must be well-lit to ensure visibility in different lighting conditions, making it easier for individuals to read and navigate.

  • The standards emphasize the importance of color contrast. Signage must have a significant contrast between the text and background to ensure readability, particularly for individuals with low vision.

Although our products are designed to meet ADA standards, these requirements closely align with the CSA B651-18 standards. This means that our ADA-compliant products are likely to meet the key accessibility criteria outlined in the CSA B651-18, providing effective solutions for accessible signage in both the United States and Canada.

If you have specific concerns about compliance with Canadian standards, please contact us for further information. We are committed to ensuring our products provide the highest level of accessibility for all users.
